I love theLENNOXX! Lindas DIY Zebra Accent Pillow made me want to do something similar.

But I used the wrong kind of paint... FAIL! I was going for clean stripes :P Next time I will use acrylic paint...

Makeover in the livingroom

Inspired by House of Turquoise I've given the livingroom a makeover. Erin is showing a wonderful turquoise and tangerine home, I think it looks so fresh!

New pillowcases are ready. I got the fabric from Stoff og Stil, at 50% discount. Me like :)

The turtle dove inspired a bit of art, but I´m not completely happy.

On my vacation I came across this wonderful place. I´m gonna let the pictures speak for themselves.

Fail

I left a big candle in my window when I went on vacation. This is what was left when I got home...

I can´t get the orange of the sill!!

Irony

I was looking through some of my old posts, especialy the one about the big dish since I've just painted it again. I never really got it to fit in the living-room, so now it's getting a new chance in the kitchen.

After a lot of back and forth considering colors for the kitchen I've ended up with blue and tangerine. Funny how it ended up with those colors, seems like they chose me!

I got these lovely vases after my grandparents.

Then, when I passed a used-marked in Stavern, I saw these bottles! I'm using them for water.

And here is the irony! In the first post about the dish I said that it was too orange. Well, now it's orange!!

Think it looks good with the vases and bottles :)

Tent

On monday I leave for Sjoa river festival. One week of fun and staying in a tent. My tent is worn out, think I've had it for 12 years! Wish I had this one! Would probably get me some attention :)

All at once...

With my new found energy I´ve started to many projects at once! So nothing is finished so I can post it here... But I´ll share a glimpse of what I´m working on :)

This week I´m trying to get Jojo´s room done. She has outgrown the pink and green room, and wanted it inspired by surfing! I´ve cut out shapes of surfboards and painted Hawaii-roses. The colors are blue, turquoise, orange and purple, Jojo´s choices.

In my grandparents barn I found a wonderful chair, a ERO nr24. Here is the before picture. Not much more remains before it´s done, just have to paint the legs.

The big dish I wrote about here has a new color. I just need to get some good picks of it, and then I´ll show you.
